Post Falls is about fifteen minutes west of us. Much of town sits on the gravelly ground of the Rathdrum Prairie, so we check for rocks around a stump before we grind, and we tell you if they'll slow things down. Along the river, older homes often have big cottonwoods and maples that leave wide stumps with roots near the surface.

What to expect

• Priced by size. Each stump is priced by its width across the top. Text a photo and we'll text back a price, usually without a site visit.
• Ground below the surface. Typically 4 to 6 inches down, deeper if you're planning a garden bed or patio.
• Buried lines marked first. We call 811 before every job so your water, gas and fiber lines are marked, then grind around them.
• Wood chips stay. We leave the chips where they fall. Use them as mulch or rake them out when you're ready.
• Easy to pay. Cash or electronic payment when the job is done. We're fully insured.
