Spirit Lake is a bit of a drive for us, and we're glad to make it. Cabin lots and wooded acreage around the lake tend to have big conifer stumps, sometimes on uneven ground, so a photo or two helps us give you an accurate price before we head out.

What to expect

• Priced by size. Each stump is priced by its width across the top. Text a photo and we'll text back a price, usually without a site visit.
• Ground below the surface. Typically 4 to 6 inches down, deeper if you're planning a garden bed or patio.
• Buried lines marked first. We call 811 before every job so your water, gas and fiber lines are marked, then grind around them.
• Wood chips stay. We leave the chips where they fall. Use them as mulch or rake them out when you're ready.
• Easy to pay. Cash or electronic payment when the job is done. We're fully insured.
